Project Overview
From Raw footage to complex stories, each complete video illustrates the story of a survivor from the events of the Civil war in El Salvador that started in the 1980s.
While I have also helped out occasionally with videography and production, my contributions primarily contribute to the video editing within post production.
The editing process
Each video is edited based on the script instructions including cuts, titles, and graphics.
On the creative side, I determined when a transition would be added or if we would utilize B camera footage. The last step consists of the color correction and colour grading, making the colours seem natural and not too visually distracting from the subject.
